The Giants have signed second-round pick Will Hernandez.
The Phillies are fourth in stolen bases, distributing 16 among four players, led by five from Cesar Hernandez and three each from Rhys Hoskins and Scott Kingery. Hernandez’s early running is encouraging as while he has averaged 17 steals the past three seasons, he has yet to eclipse 20. The bags from Hoskins and Kingery suggest they won’t be held back, Kapler is letting them demonstrate their skills.
Demarcus Lawrence Authentic Jersey While it can be argued he had no alternative, it’s still nice to see Kapler didn’t lose trust in Hector Neris after his closer cost him his first victory in that Nola game. Since that fateful opener, Neris has tossed 8 1/3 innings with a 1.08 ERA and four saves.
After being a first-round draft pick, he don鈥檛 want to be called a bust.
While it鈥檚 reasonable for Flowers to have a bruised ego, he could also play this to his own advantage. Since the Giants declined the option on his rookie deal, he鈥檚 an unrestricted free agent after the season. And with an offense that could make a significant bounce this season, he鈥檚 perhaps better served showing up and playing on the right, and then looking for someone who values him next offseason.
The 2016 NFL Draft had not even started when top prospect Nolan Ryan Jersey and Ole Miss left tackle Laremy Tunsil saw his stock drop precipitously. Why? Because a video surfaced on his (hacked) Twitter account 鈥?a video which featured Tunsil smoking a bong through a gas mask.
The video caused several teams to steer clear before the Dolphins finally ended the free fall by picking Tunsil at No. 13. But somehow that wasn’t the end of this saga. Minutes later, a second social media hack-attack led to private text messages being revealed on Tunsil’s Instagram 鈥?messages which revealed that Ole Miss coaches had helped Tunsil pay for rent, among other expenses.
